Junior League of Cedar Rapids and Foundation 2 Crisis Services are partnering to serve young people aging out of foster care!

Stuff the Truck started as a small idea in a coffee shop between two Junior Leaguers determined to bring more awareness to the incredible impact of project, Bridging the G.A.P. Now, we’re in our third year of gathering donations to support our Apartment in a Suitcase program!

Join JLCR on Giving Tuesday (Nov. 28) between 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Craft’d in downtown Cedar Rapids (333 First St. SE). Bring an item to ‘stuff the truck’ and learn more about how your donation impacts youth in the foster care system. Each individual who makes an in-kind donation will receive a free drink from Craft’d, courtesy of Palmer Group!

Want to donate in-kind items? Highly requested items for the Apartment in a Suitcase Program include kitchen knives sets, suitcases, dinnerware sets, toilet paper, paper towels, kleenexes, all purpose cleaner, dish soap, laundry detergent, queen size comforters, queen size blankets, and trash bags.
