Junior Leagues across the Association have been working to bring the issue of human trafficking into mainstream awareness. This January the Junior Leagues of Iowa are convening at the state Capitol to advocate on behalf of the communities we serve. Our legislative focus this session will be Human Trafficking and Campus Sexual Assault.

The Junior League Day on the Hill will be Jan. 26 from noon-2 p.m. (back up day in case of weather is Feb. 9). We will have lunch before trying to call our representatives out of chambers to meet them and talk about the issues each league has prioritized.
