On Giving Tuesday (November 29, 2022), we will host a Stuff the Truck event in Downtown Cedar Rapids to collect basic items for the Apartment in a Suitcase program. Additionally, all contributions made to the corresponding online fundraiser and to JLCR on Giving Tuesday will support our work in the Cedar Rapids community.

A matching gift for Giving Tuesday will allow us to maximize these financial donations and serve additional individuals in crisis. We have three matching sponsors this year: Van Meter, ESCO Group, and Transamerica.

The Stuff the Truck program is a partnership with Foundation 2 Crisis Services, a long-standing community partner that supports young people aging out of foster care.

Drop off your in-kind donation at Craft’d (333 1st St SE Suite 100) on Giving Tuesday (Nov. 29 7 a.m – 2 p.m.) and receive a free drink at Craft’d, courtesy of Palmer Group!

Can’t make it on November 29? Donations are accepted daily at Craft’d November 21 – December 4.
