How do you become a part of Junior League?

The Junior League of Cedar Rapids is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The Junior League of Cedar Rapids welcomes active members who willingly commit to the organization's mission and purpose. We offer an annual Provisional Member class to help you get acquainted with the people and processes of JLCR.

Provisional Membership:

Your first year with League, you are considered a provisional member. Provisional members are asked to attend as many provisional training meetings as possible. They generally meet once a month. The Junior League's active year runs from September through May, when you graduate to Active status.  Learn more about the Provisional Class.
